UAAP Facts:

- The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) holds its basketball tournaments from July to October of a calendar year.

- The UAAP is founded by FEU, NU, UP and UST on 1938
- UAAP was not held in the ff. year 1941-1946 due to World War II
- First Expansion: Adamson, MCU, UM and UE were admitted to the UAAP ; & only Adamson and UE were retained (1952)

- The last two members admitted to the UAAP were Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) in 1978 and De La Salle University (DLSU) in 1986
