First Responder Training Program Batch 14

The Philippines, being considered as the most disaster prone country in the world has learned to cope up with the situation by setting up rescue and EMS groups in their locality to provide immediate life saving interventions. In Metro Manila, this is very evident with the prolification of Barangay-based rescue teams, various civic communications groups and volunteer fire brigades. Inspite of this, these groups have limited sources of life saving information and formal training. Although a number of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) already are serving their respective EMS and rescue groups in the metropolis, a formal training for First Responders would complement the efforts of various institutions in providing trainings for the enhancement of would be emergency service providers.

The Fire Emergency Paramedic Assistance Group (F.E.P.A.G.), a volunteer fire EMS and rescue group once again open its invitation to various civic organizations and communication groups for the fourteenth consecutive year to join the First Responders Training Program to be held on the 2nd floor Multi-purpose Hall Manila Doctors College (Pres.
